Wardens from the National Trust are on the hunt for a number of missing goats that are thought to have escaped following vandalism in Ventnor over the weekend.
Gates on Ventnor Downs were damaged at some point over the past few days resulting in animals being able to roam further than they should.
Members of the public are being asked to keep an eye out for the animals. Anyone who spots a goat should leave it be but let wardens know by calling 01983 741020.
Anyone with information relating to the criminal damage should call Police on 101.
