Newport-based The Mobile Vet was presented with the Queen’s Award for Innovation on Saturday (15th October).
The Lord-Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight, Major General Martin White CB CBE JP, presented the award on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen during a short presentation at the business’ base on Watergate Road.
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is an awards programme for British businesses and other organizations who excel at innovation. They are the highest official UK awards for British businesses.
As reported by Island Echo back in April, the award was recommended by the Prime Minster (at the time David Cameron).
Dr Dan Forster, who accepted the award on behalf of the company, said:
“We are honoured to receive this prestigious award and had an amazing time meeting the Queen at Buckingham Palace. The Award would never have been achievable without our excellent staff.
“The team looks forward to continuing to provide an exemplary level of service to our clients”.
