The arrival of the brand new 2020 number plate has been so widely anticipated that when Esplanade approached several customers to see if they would like to be the first on the Island to be driving a HW20 reg car they jumped at the chance!
Last night (Saturday) saw the Esplanade showroom come to life with several customers ready and waiting to drive away in their brand new cars just after midnight.
Taking delivery of their new cars from Sales Executives Mark Lovett and Dominic Rann were:
- Mr Leon Clifton – collecting a special Mercedes Benz A35 premium plus with AMG Style pack
- Mr & Mrs Lewis – Volkswagen GT Edition
- Sophie Lovett – Volkswagen Polo Beats
- Mr & Mrs Cooper – All-new SsangYong Korando
Customers were offered hot drinks and were each presented with a special gift whilst they were expertly guided around their new cars before being waved off into the night.
Sales Manager, Brendan Cole said:
“New registration dates are always a busy time for Esplanade, but this new plate feels really special.
“We are delighted to be able to handover the first 20 plate cars on the Isle of Wight this decade and thank our customers for their business and our team for putting in the extra hours to make this happen.
“We hope that our customers all enjoy many happy miles this decade in their new cars”.
