With the official launch of the 2023 Poppy Appeal this weekend, the Medina Marching Band have announced a forthcoming A Festival of Remembrance 2023 at Christ the King College on Friday 10th November 19:30.
The performance will feature performances from Medina Marching Band, The IOW Highland Pipes and Drums, and singer Rosie Sales. There will also be a traditional Act of Remembrance, with a Drum Head Service led by the Royal British Legion County Chaplin Rev Whatley, featuring Standard Bearers from the Islands Royal British Legion branches and representatives from other military and youth organisations.
The event is now in its 3rd year and is sure to be a very moving evening, packed with entertainment, with all proceeds from the night going to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
