Is there anything more Christmassy than gathering around the town square Christmas tree with friends, warming your hands on a glass of mulled wine as the choir sings carols?
On the night before the night before Christmas (Monday 23rd December), , in Cowes, you can do just that as Cowes Town Centre comes alive with the sights, smells and sounds of Christmas from 18:00.
Gathered around the Christmas tree at the bottom of Market Hill (in front of Rosalie’s), the wonderful Medina Community Choir will be singing a selection of your favourite carols and other seasonal tunes, whilst surrounding shops will be open with some of them offering a selection of seasonal drinks and nibbles.
This is the third such event organised by Medina Bookshop, previous years have seen a friendly gathering of people all bewitched by the magical atmosphere and savouring the sense of community and Christmas spirit.
Everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun – be sure to wrap up warm.
