Wightlink is advising customers of a 45-minute delay on its Fishbourne-Portsmouth route this morning (Thursday) due to a medical emergency. It’s said that a passenger on board 1 of the cross-Solent operator’s ferries has become unwell, requiring medical attention. As a result of this incident, the Fishbourne route is delayed by up to 45 minutes. Customers are being urged to continue to check in on time for their original sailing, as staff are working to reduce the delay. Wightlink apologises for any changes to your travel plans. UPDATE @ 12:41 – The service has now returned to timetable.
