The King Lud in Ryde are holding their bi-annual ‘Ludfest’ this Sunday (29th November) from 11:30 on wards.
All are being invited to enjoy an array of talented local artists performing live, such as Red Rock, Kevin Seventeen and the Carnaby Kings. There are set to be some great raffle prizes to be won including a pair of Bestival tickets, Yoga classes and V-Dub island tickets.
The event is dedicated to raising vital funds for YMCA Young Carers Isle of Wight. Currently the services offers support to 336 registered carers aged 5 -18.
Money raised from the event will enable the service to offer respite for those 336 young carers. Sessions accessed by young carers include group or independent social, sports, arts and educational events.
The YMCA would like to thank Suzy Mackay from the King Lud for hosting this event and all local businesses who have donated raffle prizes.
