Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has strengthened its support for farmers and agricultural businesses on the Isle of Wight, with 3 new senior appointments.
Nigel Owen will head up the specialist agricultural team as an Area Director, having previously worked at Lloyds Bank as a Senior Manager. He brings with him more than 40 years of banking experience – 15 of which he’s spent supporting businesses in the agriculture sector.
Nigel will oversee a team of 8 Relationship Managers and Directors, providing banking products and services to more than 1,600 farmers and agricultural businesses across the South Central region, which spans Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and South Surrey.
Relationship Director, Victoria Read and Relationship Manager, Julia Dowd have also joined the South Central team, bringing with them a combined total of 18 years’ dedicated agricultural banking experience. Victoria joins from NatW11est, where she was Director of Agriculture, whereas Julia previously worked as a Team Manager for The Agricultural Mortgage Corporation.
