The line-up for January has been revealed – Love Island music? Then don’t miss out on this fantastic night.
Laurie McVay & The High Rollers
Laurie McVay (vocals/harmonica/guitar) will be joined at the Quay by the High Rollers: Tim Hollis (bass), Graham Matthews (percussion), Andy Charles (guitar) and Dave Gledhill (keyboards). The performance will offer a rare opportunity to hear a normally all-electric band in quiet mode – the better to hear Laurie’s sophisticated blues tales.
New, young and fresh Island music talent.
Sam Sheasby is a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist, currently performing as a soloist, falling into the style of Alternative Country/Soft Rock. His Storytelling thought provoking lyrics and tranquility can capture an audience, with influences such as Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer and Ryan Adams. Angelina Grimshaw is a UK songwriter who works in a variety of acoustic musical genres and has a voice to be reckoned with. Steeped in a family tradition of song-writing, painting and music, by the age of 14 she was busking in the street and doing floor spots at her local folk club and is now a touring artist playing at pubs, clubs and festivals across the UK and Europe. There is a purity and wildness about her songs, using a voice of uncanny power with grace, gravity and depth. She leaves an impression which hangs in the mind like a painting you need to revisit again and again.
Free entry and everyone is welcome. Doors from 19:00.
