The sales area of the supermarket has increased in size and the store now boasts state-of-the-art facilities including a new Danish-style bakery and welcome lobby behind a fully-glass fronted façade. Lidl have also refurbished the interior and adopted a premium muted grey palette to bring it more in line with their current look-and-feel.
Lidl UK’s Regional Property Director, Oliver McGuinness, commented:
“As our strong sales growth continues we are constantly reinvesting into our existing store base, as well as building new stores. We would like to thank all those who have played a part in improving our Lidl store in Newport and we can’t wait to welcome the local community through our doors once again.”
