Popular Island singer-songwriter Lauran Hibberd has announced details of her hometown headline show later this year.
Taking place on Saturday 16th December, ‘fuzzed-up’ indie-pop artist Lauran Hibberd and her band will be performing at the Island’s brand-new music venue, Strings in Newport.
The date follows a successful year of shows for Lauran, including slots supporting Clean Cut Kid and Sarah Close, as well as a Bestival Main Stage set. She’s also received great backing from BBC Introducing and critical acclaim from Clash Magazine for her latest single ‘Eliza’.
Joining Lauran on the night will be fellow Islanders CHAMPS who will be taking to the decks for a special DJ set.
Lauran’s music can be heard across all major streaming platforms, with new single ‘Hunny’ due to be released later this month.
