The annual Grand Draw in aid of Mountbatten was another great success thanks to the generosity of the team’s sponsors, local businesses who donated prizes and everyone who dug deep to buy tickets – over £550 in sales alone was raised this year for the team’s charity partner and with this and the team’s contribution from event entries, it’s hoped that the final amount raised will hit over £2,000.
The last event on the Wightlink-Wight Mountain Cycle Racing Team calendar of events is the Hill Climbs (Blackgang both ways) on Sunday 13th October.
