Islanders have just days left to enter the Island’s largest horticultural competition at The Chale Show, which runs over the weekend of 6th and 7th August.
Last year there were over 1,700 entries into the competition spread out over 200 classes, with trophies and cash prizes up for grabs in many. In total there is over £1,300 in prize money available this year.
Classes include horticulture, cookery, art, photography and florestry and more. All abilities and ages are encouraged to enter.
The competition takes place at The Chale Show, one of the Island’s largest outdoor shows that takes place off Military Road at Chale between 10:00-17:00 on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August.
