Following more than two years of monthly folk sessions, The King Lud in Ryde are to host a folk festival on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th February as part of Acoustic Isle 2016.
Acts are set to entertain throughout the weekend to showcase the very best of Isle of Wight folk music, with performances running each day from 14:00 until 21:00. The Bloodstone Morris Dancers will also be at the festival, entitled ‘Jolly Folkin’ Ludfest’.
Saturday 27th February

16:00 – The captain of ‘The Crew’ Pirate Paul kicks off an open mic session with guests Lindsay McComb, Menna Morey, Middshipman Lumpkin, Ruth Lockyer, Andy Jackson, Bob Huxtable and his basement band and Master Barry of ‘The Crew’ and ‘The Castaways’
