Over the past 40 years Island-born showbiz writer and broadcaster, John Hannam, has interviewed over 4,000 people from the world of entertainment. Now the roles are being reversed and John will be in the hot seat.
John is to be interviewed by Paul Armfield, the popular Island singer/songwriter, at an event on Wednesday evening (21st June) at Quay Arts in Newport.
This role reversal has only happened on a few occasions during John’s long career. The first to ever interview him was ITV Meridian’s Fred Dinenage over 20 years ago.
Over the years John has interviewed some of the greats such as Charlton Heston, Bruce Forsyth, John Mills, Donald Pleasence and Cliff Richard, to name a few.
Paul Armfield Meets John Hannam starts at 19:30 on Wednesday 21st June. Tickets cost just £5 and can be booked at https://www.quayarts.org/event/paul-armfield-meets-john-hannam/.
