Northwood House will be the host venue for an evening of spoken word and comedy when ‘THEM 2’ – Joan Ellis and Donna Jones MBE – perform at the Isle of Wight Literary Festival on Thursday 13th October.
Bteween 15:45-19:45 the Island-based duo will take you on a mad, bad journey through lives littered with spelling tests, smear tests, mad mums, bad boyz, navy knickers and nicked TVs.
Acclaimed poet/artist Donna Jones MBE and 5-star author/broadcaster Joan Ellis fled to the Island following sell-out shows in London, Barnsley and Benidorm. Shy and retiring, the pair can be heard a mile off at spoken word events, literary festivals and on radio shows.
Entry is just £5.00. Thursday 13th October – 18:45 to 19:45 at Northwood House, Ward Avenue, Cowes.
