Following considerable success in recent years, the annual Isle of Wight Motability show returns to Medina Leisure Centre, Newport on Saturday 13th May.
This one-day event features the largest selection of Motability dealers on the Island displaying a selection of vehicles under one roof. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about the Motability scheme with friendly and useful advice.
The Motability scheme has helped over 4 million people and their families to become more mobile for nearly 40 years. The scheme was launched as part of a government initiative in 1977 and its aim is to enable disabled people to use their government-funded mobility allowance to lease or buy a car.
This year event is bigger than ever and is set to include Premier Ford, with several models from the Ford range on display including a specially adapted Kuga; Esplanade Garage, with Volkswagen and Mercedes; Staddlestones with Nissan, Peugeot and SSangYong; Central Garage with Citroën plus Harwoods with Vauxhall and Renault.
The large number of franchises on display makes this year’s show a must for anyone considering the Motability scheme, including those who now receive the Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
The show will be open from 10:00 until 16:00. Admission is free and full disabled facilities are available at the Leisure Centre, including wheelchair access.
