In the Wessex Premier, 10th-placed Cowes Sports take on the side immediately below them in the table: Sherborne Town.
The game is subject to an 08:00 pitch inspection.
Yesterday, Cowes manager Max Draper said:
“The pitch was in great condition last night. Andy and Jimmy have done an unbelievable job with it.”
As to the game itself, Max says:
“Sherborne will be a good test. They’re a bit of an unknown quantity, and until you’ve played them yourselves you’re only going off clips and what others have said.
“They started life in Wessex well and got off to a solid start. I’m sure they’re enjoying being part of a really competitive league. They score goals, so we will have to be on our game to make sure we stay compact in what I’d imagine will be tough conditions.
“We will be bang up for it, and we are looking forward to testing ourselves in 4 big games over the next 10 days or so.
“We will be without Conor White this weekend who is ill but welcome back George Colson from suspension.
“Hopefully another great game at Westwood for the Cowes fans. I know they’re bringing some fans with them, so it should be another good crowd.”
In Wessex Division 1, 11th-placed East Cowes Vics travel to North Hampshire to face 15th-placed Whitchurch United (weather permitting).
Vics have been in indifferent form over recent games.
Manager Alex Smith says:
“Although the run includes a great win against Fleetlands and a big result vs Andover Town, we’ve currently lost 5 of our last 7 games in all competitions.
“With that being said, we’ve had a great week and are ready to put in a big performance that ignites a momentum shift in our form.
“I have so much faith in our group – the lads are passionate, resilient, hard-working and great company. We’ll look to make that count on Saturday.
“Whitchurch will give a stronger account of themselves at home than what we saw against them in the Hampshire Cup and the side the Cowes beat so convincingly, but we’re expecting a tough test and are ready for that.
“They’ll be buoyed by their shootout win in midweek, whilst we’ll be boosted by a new face in the line up.
“In terms of selection, we’re still missing Charlie Marsek (who is now back to doing technical work at training) and Harri Catania, who has made the switch to sign for Newport this week. We wish him all the best and thank him for his efforts in his short spell with us. Aside from that we have a fully fit and available squad.”
Also in Wessex Division 1, 17th-placed Newport face 2nd-from-bottom AFC Aldermaston at Beatrice Avenue.
The club have asked supporters to keep an eye on social media from 10:00 with more rain forecast.
