Parents on the Isle of Wight should check their cupboards due to a recall on Robinson’s Fruit Shoot drinks sold at Tesco last week.
The Food Standards Agency has issued a warning as concerns have been raised that little ones could choke on the lid if the bottle cap detaches. The warning is precautionary and follows a small number of reports.
The recall applies to 200ml Apple and Blackcurrent flavoured Fruit Shoots sold between 22nd-28th June at Tesco and McDonalds. The bottles were sold in multi-packs of 24 at Tesco and one their own at McDonalds.
All affected bottles will have a best before date of March 2020 and will have a batch code of N06 L9171, N05 L9164 or N05 L9171.
No other Fruit Shoots are affected by the recall.
Anyone with an affected bottle can claim a refund by calling Robinson’s customer services hotline on 0114 223 44 88.
