Car enthusiasts from across the country will once again be descending on the Isle of Wight in May for the annual IoW Ford Takeover event, which for 2019 will be held at Sandown Airport.
Last year’s show attracted more than 800 cars to Beaper Farm on the outskirts of Ryde, but with the growing popularity of the event the much larger Sandown Airport is now set to play host to a host of different cars from Mustangs to Escorts, Focuses to Fiestas and everything in between.
The weekend-long gathering, sponsored by Green Light Insurance, has of course been a much welcomed boost to the local economy over the past 2 years with visitors exploring different parts of the Island during their 2 or 3 day stay.
Isle of Wight Ford Takeover 2019 will take place between Friday 17th and Sunday 19th May.
