Medina Marching Band will present The Isle Of Wight Festival of Remembrance 2024 at Christ the King College on Friday (8th November) at 19:30.
The event will feature performances from Medina Marching Band and The IOW Highland Pipes and Drums. There will be further performances from the Isle of Wight College, Studio B Performing Arts, Isle of Wight College Public Services College, the IW Air Cadets and Ryde Sea Cadets.
A traditional Act of Remembrance is also planned, with a Drum Head Service, led by Royal British Legion County Chaplin Rev Whatley, featuring Standard Bearers from the Island’s Royal British legion branches and representatives from other military and youth organisations.
The event is now in its 4th year and is sure to be a very moving evening, packed with entertainment, with all proceeds from the night going to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
