Isle of Wight bodybuilder Pearl Dobson won 2 Masters Bikini contests at Worksop, Nottinghamshire at the weekend.
Pearl came 1st in both the Over-35 Masters Bikini and Over 40 Masters Bikini competitions.
Victory in both classes led to an invitation to the overall competition, in which she came 3rd. Her result has also led to an invite to 2 Federation Finals events.
Pearl’s trainer Lance Griffiths has said:
“The quality of the athletes at the event was incredible. It was definitely her toughest event so far. She really worked hard for her wins on stage.
“Her confidence, posing, demeanour and stage presence were the best I’ve ever seen.
“Coming 3rd in the overall competition was an outstanding result. Winning her classes has meant a 2nd invitation to the British finals.”
Hard work and determination does pay.
