A new weekly chess club has started in Rookley.
As part of ‘Chess in Schools and Communities,’ the sessions are to be held at Rookley Village Hall on Wednesdays between 11:15 – 14:00 (term time).
The group has several chess sets and there is no need to book. Ample parking is available.
£2 entry, which includes a cup of tea (or 2) and biscuits.
Jackie Askew, who runs the group, has said:
“If chess isn’t your thing, we also have Scrabble, some simple card games and mindful colouring.”
