Now summer is finally here, Wightlink’s senior managers will be meeting customers at Ryde Pier this week over Isle of Wight strawberries and ice cream.
Wightlink’s team, including Chief Executive Keith Greenfield, Chief Operating Officer John Burrows and Operations Director Elwyn Dop, will be on the pier near the ticket office from 16:00 until 19:00 on Thursday (21st July).
A string quartet of players from the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra, which is sponsored by Wightlink, will provide some gentle evening music.
Keith Greenfield said:
“Since joining Wightlink, I have already met many of our customers and listened with great interest to their opinions of our services.
“While this event is aimed at reaching regular commuters who cross the Solent every day, we would be delighted to welcome anyone who travels with us who wants to speak to our managers and sample some delicious local produce.”
Thousands of people have already seized their opportunity to talk to senior executives at Wightlink’s popular Meet the Manager sessions. The company welcomes feedback and good ideas from customers are taken into account in planning new services and improvements.
