3 men from the Isle of Wight have been arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply and possessing an offensive weapon, namely a baseball bat, following a Police chase in Southampton last night (Thursday).
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that they are questioning 3 men after a vehicle failed to stop for Police on Hill Lane in the city. The car then crashed into a parked vehicle and the occupants fled – but it wasn’t long before 3 people were arrested by officers.
A 21-year-old man from Ryde, a 22-year-old from Cowes and a 22-year-old from Wootton are all being questioned on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and possessing with intent to supply a Class B drug.
The unidentified man from Cowes is also being questioned on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop for Police.
Investigations continue.
