Young people on the Isle of Wight will have a chance to discover their future opportunities at a special event tomorrow (Tuesday 28th November).
Taking place at the Medina Leisure Centre, Newport, from 10:30 to 14:30, all Year 10-13 pupils on the Island have been invited to a Higher Education Exhibition by the Southern Universities Network.
Over 35 exhibitors will be there representing Further to Higher Education and Apprenticeships. Higher Education providers nationwide are travelling to the Island to enable young people to find out more about their post-16 and post-18 education options.
Around 1,000 young people are expected and will have the opportunity to attend talks on student finance, choosing a course, apprenticeships and Oxbridge explained, as well as an inspirational speaker.
The Southern Universities Network is also hosting parent/carer talks on the Island tonight (Monday 27th November), which are geared towards supporting young people when applying to Higher Education.
