Isle of Wight charity the Real World Trust has merged with Hampshire based Two Saints, it has been announced.
Two Saints provide accommodation and support to homeless and vulnerable people in Berkshire, Hampshire and Sussex, while the Real World Trust provided similar services in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight, with a focus on supporting those with drug or alcohol addictions.
Andrew Cobb, the chair of Two Saints commented:
“We’re delighted to have completed our merger with the Real World Trust”. He added, “This is a great opportunity for Two Saints to provide even better services for vulnerable people across both organisation’s operating areas and we’re looking forward to expanding our activities on the Isle of Wight”.
Claire Ritchie, the former chair of the Real World Trust commented:
“We’ve been very impressed by everything we’ve seen at Two Saints and believe this merger will help protect existing services for clients on the Isle of Wight and provide additional services to others in need of accommodation or support”.
