Island Artists Tanya Outen and Lisa Langhorn have announced their first creative collaboration entitled ‘Mission: Artpossible’ at The Big Wight Space within The New Rembrandt Gallery in Newport, opening on Tuesday 24th November.
Following the success of Tanya’s inaugural exhibition ‘Road to Chiarezza’ in August 2015, a selection of her newest abstract artworks will be shown. Influenced by Life within an Abstract Dream, Tanya’s work has developed through experimentation with intense colours, techniques and themes with several pieces reflecting the beauty of the Island.
Word Artist Lisa Langhorn will be showing a selection of her creative Word Arts designs which can be personalised to order and are hand made. Any design/shape is possible, can be framed or mounted, making beautiful gifts for friends and family.
In the Summer 2016, Mission: Artpossible will see the Launch of ‘The Creative Island Treasure Quest’ – A fun, round the Island treasure hunt open to all, culminating in the discovery of a hidden gift created especially by the artists.
The pair said:
“As artists joining together through different mediums, we believe that anything is creatively possible and that art should be accessible to all”.
The Big Wight Space is above The New Rembrandt Gallery, 15 Scarrots Lane, Newport.
The Exhibition will run from Tuesday 24th November to Saturday 28th November between 09:00-17:00.
