A new specialist accounting and tax service for Yoga Teachers and Therapists has just been launched by Brading-based accountants, Whitefield Tax.
The new venture, YogaTax, is the conception of Jessica Garbett, owner of Whitefield Tax, who has over 30 years’ experience as a Chartered Certified Accountant. The new service brings together the firms existing accountancy and tax experience with owner Jessica’s more recent venture as a Yoga Teacher and Studio owner on the Island.
Jessica found that many of her colleagues in the Yoga world were struggling with tax issues and the YogaTax service developed from her starting to curate resources and guidance for her colleagues.
Jessica says:
“My aim is to offer a simple resource for you to find answers to the common questions that come up around tax, accounts, expenses and business issues. I’m passionate about sharing expertise and helping others, especially those starting out for the first time”.
As well as Yoga Teachers, the practice also caters for Pilaties Teachers, Massage Therapists, Reiki Practitioners and anyone else working in Mind and Body therapies, and Whitefield Tax caters for both local businesses and a national specialism in Personal Service Companies from its offices just off of Brading’s Bullring.
