All are being welcomed to an event at Brading Train Station next month where there will be the chance to tour the signal box, enjoy quality food and drink and listen to the tones of ‘The Bunker Girls’, plus much much more.
On Saturday 17th September between 10:00 – 17:00 visitors can expect facepainting; a fancy dress competition; Disney princess meet and greet, Brian White on guitar; a Banjolele busker; Vectis 40s vintage group; a raffle and various stalls. The popular ‘The Bunker Girls’ will also be performing.
Signal box tours will be offered at a small charge of just £1 per person.
For more information contact Station Manager Carole Parks on 01983 401222 or email [email protected].
In addition to the one-off event, every first Wednesday of the month between 10:30-12:30 a ‘toasted teacake and chatter’ morning is held. For just £1.95 a teacake and tea or coffee is offered alongside the opening of the heritage center and tours of the signal box for just £1.
