J & J Crump and Son, a well established family company who specialise in installing insulation measures to homes throughout the UK, have opened a brand new depot in Ryde with the creation of 12 jobs.
With support from the Isle of Wight Council, The Footprint Trust and various utilities, the company are now providing insulation measures to Isle of Wight residents as part of the Warm Up Wight project. These measures include cavity wall and loft insulation, external wall insulation and replacement boilers and heating systems.
The company have now recruited Tracey Yeates as the depot manager. Tracey is a local resident and is well known on the Island and has many years experience of the industry.
Tracey said:
“I am really excited to have the opportunity to look after the Ryde depot and to be able to offer products that can help to improve the lifestyle of Isle of Wight residents”
In addition a local recruitment programme has now started with a view to initially providing fulltime employment to a further 10 local residents. The company will also be looking at opportunities to offer various apprenticeships in the future.
