47-year-old Ian Gregory, who was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia some 20 years ago, is aiming to cycle more than 10,000 miles this year and that challenge is beginning this week with a 15-hour cycle around the Island of Majorca.
Over the past 5 years the local businessman’s health has deteriorated, but he is not letting his disability get in the way of raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK. Last year Ian cycled over 3,000 miles and raised more than £4,700 for the men’s charity.
As part of his goal to cycle more than 10,000 miles this year, Ian is attempting to cycle the Mallorca 312 on Wednesday (1st March) – a 195 mile route around the coast of Mallorca.
It is hoped that at least £5,000 can be raised throughout the course of 2017, with donations invited via JustGiving at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/I-Gregory, where details of Ian’s future events can also be found.
