Horse McDonald will be performing at Quay Arts in Newport next week – her very first performance on the Isle of Wight.
Horse is an iconic and utterly unique singer/songwriter. Her music is both moving and uplifting – the audience totally absorbed whenever she performs.
With a successful career expanding over 3 decades, Horse has toured throughout but also opened for and toured with several international artists including Tina Turner, BB King, Bryan Ferry and Burt Bacharach.
Speaking about her upcoming appearance, Horse says:
“My first time playing on the island. An opportunity for me to play songs I wouldn’t ordinarily get the chance to play. With a career spanning over 30 years not only are there many songs to choose from but there are also many stories.”
