Ventnor Botanic Garden is to once again host the annual Hops Festival on Sunday 25th September from 11;00-23:00.
The Hops Festival celebrates the harvest of the hops grown on site at VBG as well as the continuation of the tradition of picking them by hand. After all the hops have been carefully picked, they are then dried and brewed into the garden’s Original Botanic Ale by local brewery Yates, or are kept green, frozen and brewed into the new Limited Edition Botanic Pale Ale by Goddards, another local brewery.
During the day and evening, entertainment for all ages, sizzling barbecue and live music with local performers such as The Ohmz, Fellowship of Groove, Kingz of Vocals and much more will help to set the merry atmosphere and ensure the celebrations of this year’s harvest continue in style.
Free entry and parking to the Festival, with just a donation to ongoing maintenance to visit the entire Garden (£5 minimum donation).
