High Park FC are set to return to Island League football in February after being suspended for violent conduct – said to be the 1st such suspension for a local team in almost 40 years. The troubled club received their suspension from the Isle of Wight Divisional Football Association following the abandonment of their game against Northwood St Johns at Cowes Community Club in December, in which 2 Northwood players and their manager suffered blows during a mass brawl between the 2 sides. In their match before meeting Northwood, High Park had received 4 red cards. In the season to date, their team has received 18 yellow and 11 red cards. Their total fines amount to £751. Disciplinary matters are dealt with by the Hampshire Football Association, who have imposed a £200 fine on the club and severely warned them as to their future conduct. The Isle of Wight League Management Committee may yet impose further sanctions at their monthly meeting on 5th February. A decision to expel High Park from the Isle of Wight League can only be made by a vote of the majority of clubs at their Annual General Meeting. However, expulsion could still happen at an Emergency General Meeting – which is currently considered unlikely.

Let’s hope those boys are so naughty next time they play foot ball.
I am sure they will be nicer after this ban.
They are not bad boys at heart.
They are low-life meathead scum. We have seen it every time they play. Should be permanently banned.
This is to be expected when below average intelligence people chase a sack of air around a field. Swap the football for a cannon ball, I doubt they’d even notice.
