The Isle of Wight Hedgerow Group has announced that the 2020 hedge laying competition is to take place on 29th February at Coombe Farm, Brighstone.
This year’s event is being held between 10:00-16:00 by kind permission of Mr and Mrs James Dawes.
The field is wetter than previous but more sheltered, so wrap up warm, put on your wellies and pop along.
The tea tent will be there, along with all your favourite attractions.
Pitches are limited due to the size of the hedge. Competitors are asked to submit their entries ASAP to avoid disappointment.
Entry and parking is free for competitors and spectators – all are welcome.

Great these old traditions are being kept alive, before the Council give mates permission to build over our green and pleasant Isle.
