Harry Vernon has won the Winter Session of the 4 Seasons Chess Tournament, ahead of Terry Simms. The 4 Seasons Chess Tournament is a series of competitions organised by VectisChess and hosted by the Shanklin Chess Club on Regent Street. 7 players survived the elimination rounds in the morning to qualify for the afternoon rounds. The players were evenly matched and all had to continue for another 4 hours of play. It was neck and neck to the end and most exciting.
