Mayor of Ryde, Cllr Michael Lilley said:

“As Mayor Ryde I am so proud to be opening the 2021 Wight on Harp festival on Friday at 7pm at Garfield Hall. Ryde Town Council has sponsored this locally initiated international event over many years, and it is always a joy to go to hear music for the incredible instrument of the harp. I do really recommend it.

“We have some of the greatest harpists visiting along with our own local talent. This event is more incredible this year as it is one of a small number of Ryde events that have managed to run due to Covid19, so please support it. I believe there are a few tickets left and I promise you will be blown away. The harp has a very magical sound.”

Harp On Wight is sponsored by Ryde Town Council.
