The highly talented Island Savoyards are to present ‘A Christmas Carol’ at Shanklin Theatre later this month.
This fantastic version of the Charles Dickens classic, written by the award winning Alan Menken, will really get you in the festive mood.
Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated ‘Bah! Humbug!’ Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he’s forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present, & Future.
Presented in with a live orchestra, professionally designed and made costumes and a brand new custom built set, this all family inclusive show will be a perfect warm up to the festive period.
A Christmas Carol will be performed at Shanklin Theatre between 22nd-25th November 2018. The production is to support CLIC Sargent.
