Hampshire Constabulary are appealing for information following a burglary in Carisbrooke this week.
A trailer, 4 bicycles, a petrol lawnmower and a chipper are just a few of the items stolen from an address at Cedar Hill – other garden tools were also taken.
The items were stolen from a garage between 22:30 on Sunday 28th July and 08:30 on Monday 29th July.
Police have said that the garage doors had been ripped off by the thieves to gain entry and are now appealing for information.
PC Tom Wyld said:
“The victims have had a large number of high value items taken from their home address.
“The equipment is used daily for work and its theft will affect their ability to do provide a service for their customers.
“If you have seen anyone behaving suspiciously in the area, please call 101 quoting 44190266105.

The minds of criminals amaze me….. why work 9 – 5 and earn money, when instead I can sit around all my life then occasionally go out and steal items that someone else has worked hard to acquire and I can sell it and make money for myself……. do as they do in some countries abroad…… get caught stealing then your punishment is lose a hand …. that should reduce stealing.
