Families across the Isle of Wight are being treated to a weekend of free fun thanks to the British Marine ‘Fun On The Water’ event on 12th/13th May.
There is something planned for everyone over the action-packed weekend including the opportunity to try paddle boarding, sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and much more. There will also be demonstrations of a jet pack, man overboard retrieval, a Coastguard helicopter flypast and information stands from National Coastguard Institute, HM Coastguard and the Maritime Volunteer Service.
Thrill-seekers will be able to enjoy a free 15-minute ride* on the Island’s fastest charter RIB, Lightning Rebel, courtesy of Rebel Marine. You’ll be able to take home complimentary snaps of your ride, plus merchandise to purchase, including t-shirts and video footage of your RIB experience.
The event is taking place at Cowes Yacht Haven, Cowes from 10:00-16:00 on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May. Free entry.
