Warrior Festival 2023 has been postponed owing to the forecasted bad weather set to hit the Island this weekend.
Back for the 3rd edition of the popular event – which is held in aid of The Wight Brainy Bunch – Warrior Festival was set to head to Smallbrook Stadium in Ryde this Saturday.
However, as previously reported by Island Echo, strong gusts of wind as strong as 65mph look set to grace the Island this weekend, with organisers admitting that the safety of organisers and guests, always comes first.
Warrior Festival is the 3rd event to be postponed today following the decision to postpone the 3-day Isle of Wight Pride Parade and the 1st Sunset Sessions set at Blackgang Chine.
A Warrior Festival spokesperson has said:
“Warrior Festival IOW & The Wight Brainy Bunch are deeply saddened to have had to take this decision. However, we want this event to be memorable for all the right reasons.
“Ticket holders, you don’t need to do anything. Your ticket will be automatically rolled over to the proposed new date.”
Organisers have said that they have checked the diaries and the 2023 edition of Warrior Festival will take place on Saturday 23rd September.
