The Red Funnel Cowes Food Show takes place this Saturday and Sunday in Cowes Yacht Haven as part of the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race Regatta Village.
The show is packed full of local producers from garlic to Ale, seafood to olives with a range of local art and craft stalls. With the two day showing running in the Regatta Village the event will be in good company with acoustic music, exhibitor stalls and more plus a host of talented buskers in Cowes High Street.
The weather forecast for the weekend is looking good and there will be plenty of opportunities for visitors to try before they buy and ask questions about how products are made and where they come from.
Local businesses exhibiting include the Garlic Farm, Goddards Brewery, Treclaimed and Isle of Fudge. Visitors will also have the chance to learn from the experts at the Cookery Theatre which will feature top local chefs making some of their favourite dishes.
This edition of the popular Cowes Food Show is part of the Isle of Wight Festival of the Sea and visitors will also have the chance to win a trip with Red Funnel for a car and up to seven people by entering our edible pirate ship competition! Entries must be submitted by 12:30 on Saturday 21st June and the judges will pick their favourite at 13:30 that day.
