Investigations are underway into an occurrence of fly tipping in Gurnard after the discovery of household waste dumped at the side of the road.

Items discarded without a thought for the environment or other people includes an empty TV box, a cupboard, various plastics and black bags.

There are fears that the rubbish may have been dumped by an unlicensed waste collector, but it cannot be ruled out that the items have come from a single inconsiderate household.

Efforts have been made to identify where the waste has come from and the information has been passed to the relevant authorities.
