FISHERIES SET TO BE A KEY TOPIC WHEN UKIP DEPUTY LEADER VISITS THE ISLE OF WIGHT


UKIP Deputy Leader Mike Hookem MEP is paying a visit to the Isle of Wight on Monday (8th April).

Mike will be speaking on fisheries at a public meeting at the Ventnor Winter Gardens Balcony Room at 18:30.

Giving a local perspective alongside Mike will be well known Ventnor fisher, Geoff Blake.

With the UK deep into the extension period of Article 50 a lively debate is expected covering such issues as the Common Fisheries Policy and Brexit, as well as local issues such as the future of Ventnor Haven and the situation for the Island’s fishing fleet.

Everyone is invited to this event that promises to provide an interesting evening of political debate.
