The Isle of Wight Story Festival has announced Laura Ellen Anderson, author of the Amelia Fang book series, among the first confirmed guests at the 2023 edition of the popular event.
Joining her will be Isle of Wight author and creator of Podkin One Ear, Kieran Larwood, who won the Blue Peter book award in 2017. Also on the lineup are Jamie Littler, who wrote and illustrated the Frostheart books, as well Nicholas Allan, the patron of the festival.
Taking place between February 16th and 18th, the IW Story Festival will be held at Quay Arts in Newport. Live music, interactive sessions and more author talks will be announced in the coming months.
In previous years, the IW Story Festival has hosted Winnie the Witch illustrator, Korky Paul, and Axel Scheffler who is known for the Gruffalo drawings.
