A charity football match is set to raise money for a defibrillator project when it takes place on 17th October.
Firefighters from the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are to battle it out on the pitch against the Sandown and Lake Football Club Managers and Coaches at Fairway Park in Sandown.
On the day, there will also be a raffle and tombola, bouncy castle, cake stall, tuck shop, and barbecue. Vectis Radio will also be at the event and those attending can expect to have the opportunity to get involved in a series of games.
Prizes for the raffle include a 30-minute aeroplane flight from Sandown Airport, 2 theatre tickets for the Island Savoyards production of Little Shop of Horrors, and a water sports experience.
Also attending the match will be a fire appliance and representatives from the Island’s Coastguard Rescue Teams.
The match kicks off at 14:00 on Sunday 17th October.
