Fort Vic Foray – the West Wight’s Wildlife get-together – is back as part of the Isle of Wight Biosphere’s action-packed year.
The foray will take place on Saturday 24th September between 11:00-16:00 and will include discovery sessions, birdwatching, and woodland works and seagrass, seashore & fossil walks.
The Common Space are co-hosting this gentle exploration of West Wight’s wildlife and landscape as part of the UNESCO Sites Across the Channel programme and with thanks to EU Interreg funding secured by the Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty towards encouraging sustainable tourism in Biosphere sites.
As well as the Foray itself, there will be an opportunity to explore the heritage site, its attractions, and the country park.
Parking at Fort Victoria is limited, so visitors are advised to arrive early to avoid any issues.
