Mary Hill of The Dotty Imaging Co. is hosting an art exhibition and workshop at Holliers Park, Branstone at the end of the month.
As well as a collection of new and popular works for sale by the Island artist, a Colour Blend Pot Painting workshop is being held over the weekend of Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July.
The event is taking place at Island Artisan, Holliers Park (next to House of Chilli) at Branstone near Apse Heath.
Islanders are being invited to learn the traditional Folkart style painting technique to decorate a terracotta plant pot.
Materials will be provided including the paint, brushes and pots etc. You will have practice time before painting on the pots and be able to take home your lovely creations. There will be step-by-step tutor guidance and demonstrations.
The workshop is priced at £10 for your first pot and £5 for any additional pots on the day. Suitable for ages 12+ (under 16’s to be accompanied by an adult).
