The ‘Visions & Dimensions’ exhibition by Island artists Andrew Dowden and Jeanne Mills-Holland will be returning to Quarr Abbey near Ryde next week.
Andrew’s handmade and hand-carved sculpture ceramics and wall panels, have an emphasis on form and texture rather than function. His many inspirations include architecture, machinery, archaeology, and tracks in the land made by man, machine and nature.
Jeanne’s pots are mainly decorative, with paintings in oils and watercolours mostly inspired by the sea. Her love of the sea and sailing is depicted through her photography.
The exhibition runs from Thursday 24th May to Tuesday 29th May between 10:00-17:00 daily. Free admission to the exhibition, Abbey and the grounds.
The artists will be in attendance and will be happy to discuss their work. A percentage of all exhibition sales goes to the Abbey.
